Neom Forges Ahead with Epicon Towers and Ambitious Gulf of Aqaba Mega-Developments
The latest on Epicon Towers
Neom, the ambitious giga-project in Saudi Arabia, has commenced construction on one of its flagship developments, the Epicon Towers, in the Gulf of Aqaba region. The enabling works are currently underway on site, executed by the local foundation contractor, Ammico Contracting.
The Epicon Towers project, previously known as the "Gas Station Hotel," is a twin-tower hotel development featuring 41 keys and 14 residential suites and apartments.
The towers will soar to impressive heights of 275 meters and 225 meters, respectively. Additionally, the development will encompass a resort with 120 rooms and 45 villas.
Neom has appointed Hong Kong-based 10 Design as the lead consultant for the project, while Singapore-based Meinhardt Group is providing the overall infrastructure design services.
Other projects in Aqaba
The Epicon Towers project is one of several high-profile launches announced by Neom in the Gulf of Aqaba region, following the initial announcement in November. Other notable projects in the region include Leyja, Siranna, Utamo, Norlana, Aquellum, Zardun, Xaynor, and Elanan.
These developments in the Gulf of Aqaba region mark Neom's latest endeavors, complementing previously announced projects such as The Line, Trojena, Oxagon, and Sindalah Island. As Neom continues to take shape, the Saudi giga-project aims to redefine urban living and set new standards for sustainability and innovation in the region.
Industry experts and stakeholders eagerly anticipate the progress of these ambitious developments, which are poised to reshape the landscape of the Gulf of Aqaba region and contribute to Neom's vision of creating a futuristic, sustainable city.
