Diriyah Company showcases Corinthia Residences

New residences released as part of Diriyah developments

The Diriyah Company has introduced the Diriyah Corinthia Residences, a project that elegantly blends traditional Saudi Najdi architectural elements.

This new prestigious development establishes a vibrant residential and business district on the outskirts of Riyadh, aligning with the expansive growth plans of Diriyah Company projects.

‘City of Earth’

Termed as the “City of Earth,” the initiative seeks to revive age-old construction techniques characteristic of the region. It employs mudbrick architecture designed to enhance cooling by allowing heat to escape, a practice historically prevalent across the area for millennia.

Initially, the plan was set for Corinthia Hotels to construct an 80-room hotel embodying the classic Najdi style, complemented by ten residential villas offering services and two exclusive restaurants, among five dining experiences.

This venture is a key component of the broader evolution of Diriyah, attracting prestigious names like the Ritz Carlton to introduce their newest ventures in the nation.

Previously, in 2022, Corinthia Hotels entered into a management contract with the Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) to launch a hotel slated for opening in 2025 within the historic confines of Diriyah.

This move is part of Saudi Arabia’s ambitious plan to inaugurate more than a dozen luxury hotels in the vicinity, aiming to transform this “Jewel of the Kingdom” into the prime destination for history, culture, and lifestyle.

Location of Diriyah

Located to Riyadh’s northwest, Diriyah is historically significant as the ancestral seat of the Saudi royal lineage, with its Turaif district being recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010.
